Around 1.30 lakh candidates have given their special written examination for recruitment to the post of Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade and this test was conducted on 10th November 2013 across Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil Nadu Special Police Youth Brigade will be helping the police in traffic regulation, control the crowd and take up the job of driver and delivery of tapals.
