Border Security Force Recruitment 2013-2014 details

BSF Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno): 25 (Gen-3, OBC-6, SC-3, ST-13)

Pay Scale                     : Rs. 5200 to 20200 with grade pay 2800

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 or Intermediate with Shorthand @ 80 w.p.m. + Transcription / Dictation in English or Hindi        

BSF Head Constable (Ministerial): 159 (Gen-4, OBC-86, SC-45, ST-24)

Pay Scale                     : Rs. 5200 to 20200 with grade pay 2400

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 or Intermediate with Typing @ 30 w.p.m. + Transcription / Dictation in English or Hindi on computer. (Please see www.bsf.nic.in for more details on required educational and skill qualifications)

BSF Constable (Daftry): 12 (OBC-6, SC-3, ST-3)

Pay Scale                     : Rs. 5200 to 20200 with grade pay 2000

Educational Qualifications: Matriculation

Age limit for all posts: 18 to 25 years
