Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination conducted the TN Plus Two examination for class 12th students of state board schools from 3 March to 25 March 2014, and will declare the Plus Two 2014 results on 9 May at 10 am, as per the available information.
A total of 8, 26,000 regular candidates and 53,000 private candidates appeared for TN Plus Two examinations 2014. All the candidates appeared in the TN Plus Two Exams 2014 will be able to check out their results either on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination: http://dge.tn.gov.in or http://tnresults.nic.in/, or aspirants can also easily checkout their results at TN Board Result 2014
Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was established in 1910, under the department of Education, government of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination evaluates students’ progress by conducting board examinations at the end of class 10th and the other at the end of class 12th. The scores from class 12th are used by universities to determine eligibility and cut off for admissions into their programs.
In the year 2002, Tamil Nadu government constituted a new Board for school examination such as “Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination” by uniting together the existing two separate boards (1) Board of Secondary Education and (2) Board of Higher Secondary Examinations.
